About

Hi, my name is Tim Gane and Tim Is Me. I created this website to talk about my self improvement journey, my experiences, experiments and my successes and failures. I became interested in self improvement and life style design in mid-2009 and started doing reading online, and following blogs on the subject.

I wanted to improve me and myself for a multitudes of reasons. I have a wide range of interest from video games, to mixed martial arts, to web design and development. I believe in order to succeed in the things you do one must being willing to attempt anything, and have no fear of failure.

People will operate in what we call a comfort zone. And a comfort zone is generaly one greater or one less then how they see themselves conceptually. People can only behave in their roles in a manner consistent in how the see themselves conceptually. So we have a spread there, so if you see yourself as a five, you’ll four to six it in life” – David Sandler

About this website.

This website is dedicated to my father Roy, who passed away in late 2003, and to everyone else who believes, despite who we are and where we come from, we all have something special to give to the world.

I’m a great believe in luck and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it” – Thomas Jefferson.
